How to Pay Bills or Virtual Accounts on Livin' by Mandiri

 Easy way to pay your bills in Livin', with only copy-paste the VA/bill number or use the bill auto payment feature.

How to Pay Your Bills

Select the Payment/VA Menu on the Home page

Type the Bill you want to Pay in the search field, for example BPJS

Select BPJS Kesehatan Keluarga

Enter the VA/customer number and other required detailed information then tap Continue

Confirm the nominal amount and determine the source of fund for payment and tap Continue

If all the info is correct Tap Continue Pay

How to Pay with a Virtual Account

Select the Pay/VA Menu on the Home page

Type the VA number of the bill you want to pay in the search field

Please select a service provider according to the VA number entered

On the payment page, select Fund Source, for example Credit Card

Select the tenor as needed, then Save

Go to Set Installments to reset the tenor as desired

Risks & Costs

1. To avoid failure of the Autodebit activation process, before activating Autodebit through Livin' by Mandiri, please ensure that:

  • You have the Livin' by Mandiri app
  • You have an active savings account
  • You have recurring bills or weekly or monthly recurring charges
  • You have sufficient savings balance or credit card limit

2. To avoid failure of the Auto-debit process, please ensure:

  • You have an unpaid bill. If the bill has already been paid through another payment channel, Auto-debit will fail to debit.
  • Set up the auto-debit date before the bill due date. If your bill is inactive or expired, it will not be found by the payment service provider.
  • You have sufficient balance/limit in the source account for the debit. Ensure the balance/limit is available before the debit date.
  • Set the Payment Limit at a reasonable amount. If the invoice amount from the service provider exceeds the ‘Set Payment Limit’ amount that the customer has set during Autodebit activation, this may cause the Autodebit process to fail.

3. If the Auto-debit process has not been successful, you can make a payment by following these steps:

Payment steps in the Auto-debit menu:

  • Click the Pay/VA menu
  • Click the Auto-debit & Bill Reminder banner at the top of your device screen
  • Select one of the Auto-debit lists you wish to make a payment for
  • You can view the Auto-debit details
  • Click ‘Pay Now’

Payment steps in the Inbox menu:

  • Click the push notification or click the inbox menu in the Livin' by Mandiri application
  • Click the message with the title ‘Autodebit Bill Not Paid’
  • You can view the Inbox details section
  • If your bill is still active, you can click the ‘Pay Now’ button
  • If your bill has expired or has already been paid, the ‘Transaction History’ button will appear

4. There is no charge for activating Auto Debit through Livin' by Mandiri.

However, when Auto Debit is activated on a weekly/monthly basis, you will be charged a service fee in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of each biller activated. What is the "Pay/VA" feature in Livin'?

A bill payment feature using funding sources registered in Livin'. Simply select a Service Provider and enter the Payment Code (VA). To provide a faster transaction experience, customers can just enter the VA in the search field.

What Service Providers are available in Livin'?

Customers can access the list of Service Providers through available categories, which are periodically updated by Bank Mandiri.

Can customers make Pay/VA transactions in installments using a Credit Card as the funding source?

Yes, customers can complete transactions using Credit Card funding sources for both full payment and installments. Learn more here.

Why are only Savings funding sources available for certain Service Providers?

Credit Card funding sources are available for Service Providers in accordance with applicable Bank regulations. Customers can still use Savings or Individual Current Account funding sources for all Service Providers in Livin'.

Autodebit

What is the Autodebit feature?

Autodebit is an automatic payment service that allows the withdrawal of funds directly from the customer's bank account or credit card on a predetermined date to pay bills or obligations periodically.

What benefits are offered by the Autodebit feature?

The benefits obtained by the Customer when using the autodebit are as follows:

  • Flexible autodebit payments can be set up weekly/monthly
  • Choice of payment sources both savings and credit cards
  • Optional H-3 and/or H-1 reminder notification before debiting
  • Ease of checking autodebit status on the Livin'by Mandiri app

Can all service providers be set up for Autodebit?

No, it only applies to recurring billers with a static Virtual Account (VA) number or customer ID (always the same). However, if the biller cannot be set for payment autodebit, customers can still use the bill reminder feature.

Where can I see my autodebit payment receipt?

Customers can view autodebit transaction receipts through: ​

  • Enter the Pay/VA menu
  • Click the Autodebit & Reminder banner ​
  • Select one of the autodebit lists
  • Check the payment history section

Can I use the same Virtual Account (VA) number or customer ID to activate Autodebit multiple times?

No, customers can only activate 1 (one) autodebit for 1 (one) Virtual Account number or customer ID for 1 (one) service provider.

When can I delete Autodebit?

The customer can delete the Autodebit request on D-1 before the autodebit runs or on the day after the autodebit is successfully run

Where can I see my autodebit payment receipt?

Customers can view autodebit transaction receipts through:

  • Enter the Pay/VA menu ​
  • Click the Autodebit & Reminder banner ​
  • Select one of the autodebit lists ​
  • Check the payment history section with the "paid" filter ​
  • Click the view receipt button

Will I get a reminder before autodebit runs?

Yes, Livin' will send push notifications and inbox messages to customers on D-3 & D-1 before the autodebit runs​

What can I do if my autodebit activation fails?

Customers can retry the activation process or by: ​

  • Click push notifications or go to Livin' inbox menu
  • Check the account info inbox section
  • Click failed activation
  • Click the "Reschedule" button ​

If customer still experience issues, they can call Mandiri Call ​14000 or make a complaint through the nearest branch ​
