Bank Mandiri to Provide Property Tax Payments Facilities in Bekasi Municipality

Bekasi, West Java – 26 January 2017 - Bank Mandiri will provide banking services for the payment of Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) to the Bekasi Municipal Government so as to help boost the municipality’s tax revenues.

The collaboration agreement to this effect was signed by Bank Mandiri Regional CEO IV, Jasmin, and the Head of the Bekasi Municipal Revenue Agency (DISPENDA), Aan Suhanda, on Thursday (Jan 26).

Through this partnership, Bekasi municipality taxpayers will be able to make their PPB-P2 payments through various Bank Mandiri payment channels, such as Mandiri ATMs, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, and branch offices. Currently, a total of 650,000 PPB-P2 taxpayers are registered with the Bekasi DISPENDA.

Jasmin said that as a provider of banking services to Bekasi Municipality, Bank Mandiri was committed to actively facilitating the making of tax payments by people in Bekasi Municipality, particularly through the provision of electronic access so that PPB-P2 payments could be made anywhere and at anytime. ”We fully understand that ease of access is of the utmost importance to increasing the awareness and compliance of taxpayers in paying their PPB-P2 obligations, given that such payments are very important for the development of Bekasi,” said Jasmin.

Bekasi municipal PPB-P2 payments can be made through some 2,500 Mandiri branch offices and a network of more than 17,400 automated teller machines (ATM) throughout Indonesia, as well as through Bank Mandiri’s electronic networks, such as internet banking and mobile banking.
