Benefits
Importers do not have to provide full cash; they just prepare a specified percentage amount until the arrival of imported goods.
Importers can use their right of L/C documents to get refinancing facility.
Importers will be secured since the bank will reject payment to exporters unless they have completed all documents required by importers stated in the L/C.
